What will you do?
- Read responses to the AHEM policy and practice questionnaire
- Look for and note any trends, patterns, or unusual activity
- Monthly, report any comments and questions for review by the AHEM board
What experience is necessary?
Familiarity and understanding of Massachusetts homeschool law is helpful, but we trust you will learn as you go if you’re interested! Suggested background reading (available on the AHEM website) includes:
What is the time commitment?
About 1 hour per month or less, more after a request for responses goes out (once or twice a year).
Will this position involve working directly with the public?
No, but requires volunteer to respect privacy of respondents and not to share their personal information.
What equipment is needed?
A computer and regular access to the Internet.
