Support and Resources
AHEM contacts are happy to use their combined wisdom of many years homeschooling in Massachusetts to help you figure out how homeschooling works, as well as help you communicate with school officials. We do not provide legal advice.

Hooking up with a local support group is also a great way to make social connections, and often people in your own town will provide the best insight into town policy and dealing with local officials. There are also ways to hook up with other homeschoolers online and at learning centers.

Also linked from this page are perspectives on getting your feet wet: connecting with homeschoolers, and thinking through curriculum purchases; plus beyond homeschooling (college? or...) and a special section highlighting the special relationship between libraries and homeschoolers. Other great resources for support are our events listing and educators' discounts.

The information on this website does not constitute legal advice; it is provided for informational purposes only.
