Not-Back-to-School Events 2007
Tuesday, September 4th at 11:00
It's that time of year again when our kids don't "go back" to school. Good time for a picnic!

Where: Fort Tabor Park (AKA Fort Rodman Military Reservation) in the south end of New Bedford. We'll meet at the playground.
When: Tuesday, September 4th at 11:00. Rain date, Wednesday, Sept. 5th.
Who: Open to all homeschoolers & their families & anyone even thinking about homeschooling.
What to bring: Picnic lunch. Also, this is a great site for flying kites, riding a bike, or rollerblading so you might consider some items like that. There is a paved walkway that runs the perimeter of the park. If you’re into Letterboxing, there’s a box hidden here. There's also a beach, but it may be too cold. This is a beautiful place. If you've never been, then come down just for the view. You can see the Elizabeth Islands & sometimes even the Vineyard.
RSVP: Not necessary, but it'd be nice to get an idea of who'll be there! Also feel free to contact me if you need directions. schomeschoolers @ yahoo.com.

So join us for food, play, & chat! Hope to see you there.

All the best,
Jessica
